Open to All Student Societies at the
University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom

•   Academic Societies
Kent has a wide range of academic societies, covering many different academic areas of interest. Most of them are open also for people who study a different subject.

•   Cultural and Social Societies
Cultural and social societies cover the classical ‘free time activities’. A broad spectrum of activities is available at Kent; feel free to join people with similar interests.

•   International Societies
Kent’s International societies offer support and fellowship for students from a particular country or region, but they are also open for ‘foreigners’ who are interested in exploring different cultures and traditions.

•   Proactive and Political Societies
These societies are either linked with a proactive group or political party, or they are in some other way working for a particular aim. It is often easier to express one’s viewpoint in a group rather than alone.

•   Religious Societies
Religious societies at Kent are among the biggest on campus, offering a wide range of activities including social events and coach trips as well as weekly opportunities for worship and discussion.

•   Sports Clubs
If you are anything but a couch potato, Kent’s sports clubs are for you. There are many different sports you can do at the university, ranging from team sports like football to individual sports like judo.

To navigate through this website, simply use the links on the left. All student clubs and societies that wish will be listed here. If you would like your society to be added, or if you have any comments or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to e-mail the webmaster.
